Somewhat Sad

I haven't felt much like blogging lately.

Joe (the wonderful husband) and I have been trying to conceive our second baby for 17 months now and we're starting the road to IVF in a few weeks. It has been much harder emotionally than I first though. Especially because we didn't wait at all to conceive Sam, our first child.

I have been creating a lot to keep my mind off of it, but haven't taken pictures. Soon folks! I have a lot of orders to fill and that is a plus during this somewhat sad days. Hope everyone is doing well, I'll be back to my smiling self in no time.

I've had friends go through treatments as well... and though it can be a winding road, the beautiful little outcome is worth it. Praying it's a quick process for you and the hubby :o) Best of luck!

Hi honey,

I'm so sorry to know the trials that you're going through right now. It is a very difficult journey, going through infertility treatments, but you're not alone. In fact, my husband and I went through IVF to conceive our first child.

Please email me or convo me if you ever want to talk with someone who's been there. I can also pass on an online community of women who've gone through/are going through infertility -- there are some amazing women and resources there.

I remember it like it was yesterday. IVF is scary, but it also puts all the strength of the lab, your doctors, and technology behind your efforts to bring your next child home. I know you can do it!

Keep your chin up and keep the faith!
